With AI against COVID-19: Winner of the science prize at the fifth Future Medicine Science Match
At the fifth Future Medicine Science Match 2020 of the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) and the Tagesspiegel, nearly 1000 participants* met online this year to learn about the best projects on artificial intelligence in translational medicine. The app@work winning project of the best scientific lecture uses automated data analysis using artificial intelligence to predict the course of disease and the targeted treatment of COVID-19 patients intensive care units. The audience award, donated by Intuitive Surgical, was won by Manouchehr Shamsrizi from gamelab.berlin of the Cluster of Excellence of the Humboldt University Berlin. Both winning teams received 500 euros as a prize.
