It has the highest paid circulation of any newspaper in the region of the capital with a market share that has been growing for over ten years. Der Tagesspiegel is one of the most quoted newspapers in Germany and reaches more policy-makers in the Berlin region than all national subscription-based newspapers combined. With a slight increase in paid circulation, Der Tagesspiegel reports one of the best circulation developments of all German newspapers in the last IVW surveys (Source: IVW). The editorial staff and publishing house are being continuously expanded in order to meet the challenges of the media market.
